Zoom Chair-side Whitening System
The Zoom Chair-side Whitening System is a light-assisted tooth whitening procedure used to whiten discolored teeth. The system is owned by Discus Dental, LLC.
Whitening can improve a patient's appearance and encourage better dental care habits.
How it works
Gel + light, without changing the tooth
1
Whitening gel
The system uses a whitening gel whose active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide.
2
Zoom Lamp
The Zoom Lamp activates the peroxide and helps it penetrate the tooth surface.
3
Lighter teeth
As the peroxide breaks down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin and lightens stained material without changing the structure of the tooth.
